Professional Experience
Dr. Mizanur Rahman has been working as a doctor in Australia since 2014 and transitioned to General Practice in 2018. He obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023 and has a special interest in men’s health, chronic disease management, and skin cancer.
Dr. Mizan started his GP career in the beautiful southern Fleurieu Peninsula, working in Yankalilla and Goolwa, and now practices at Aldinga Day and Night Surgery. Before becoming a GP, he worked in public hospitals, beginning at Lyell McEwin Hospital in the Emergency Department. Prior to moving to Australia in 2013, he spent 10 years practicing medicine in Bangladesh, where he gained significant experience in Cardiology, particularly in Coronary Care Units (CCU), an area he remains passionate about.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Mizan enjoys traveling and is a devoted cricket fan, often spending time with his son, who dreams of becoming a cricketer.
